How To Spot the ScammersPlanned Scammers and ConmenUnfortunately, some people know that some buyers are swayed by first impressions. Some guys just don't look beyond the hot chick with the pert bottom. Scammers know this. Let's imagine I am a scammer. I could be a hairy great fat bloke, or I could be a skint spotty college kid. I need a site. I can't build anything myself but I know where I can get a free site made up in just a few hours. Great, that's the site sorted. Now I need some hot pics to attract some schmucks..er I mean...buyers... Fantastic, I can use as many hot pics as I want. What about payment? Oh I know, everybody uses Paypal right? I can just stick some Paypal buttons on my site and they'll handle all the transactions for me. This is just too easy! I'll join up with Panty Hog or Ebanned, announce myself as a skint college girl who really needs some spare cash for her college fees. Every guy loves a college girl right? Even better, I'll be totally original and say I have a girlfriend who is brunette and curvy (I'll say I'm blonde and athletic)...that way I'll get her orders and my orders...hey..even better I'll say that we make out...guys love that right? I'll get loads of orders, send out a few pairs of panties until I get bored and then what are they going to do? Complain? Who too? hahahahaa When it all falls apart I'll just set up again as a red-headed nurse who likes men and women, lots of them. Easy cash!! You think I'm kidding? Sweet Tobey was exposed as a red-neck twerp called Gerard from Alabama, Birmingham, USA....ooooo we had a lot of fun with him *grin* Check all available resources to ensure your seller is genuine. Google her name and website address - this is how Gerard/Sweet Tobey was uncovered. Check Joe's blog 'used panties - the wall of shame' for the latest exposés in the world of Panty.
Unintentional ScammersNot all sellers are blokes with sweaty bollocks who just want your cash. Lots of newbie sellers are genuine young women who want a bit of a laugh as they earn some extra cash. They spend an hour or so setting up their freesites, adding their Paypal buttons and getting their room mate to take some saucy pics. But...
...and they disappear... ...with YOUR cash.
So How Do I Avoid These Scammers?You need to know some facts;
If any seller is using a free site or an online payment processor it proves they have not done their research. If they haven't done their research then are they really committed to their new project for any length of time? Their site will eventually be pulled and their paypal account frozen. If this happens do you really think she will stick around to honour your refund or fulfil your order? Are you sure? The information is out there. When I set up as a newbie seller I soon found Panty Hog after just an hour or so on the internet and I fell over tons of good advice on what was allowed, what was expected and how to run my fledging business. I refuse to believe that a new seller can't find at least the same amount of information that I did. Check whois to see if your new co-ed panty girl is the head of an international conglomeration that looks suspiciously like an adult entertainment industry. It's fine for them to sell panties but shouldn't they be upfront about it? Be fair though, if the site is registered under a male name it doesn't mean the seller is a bloke, it may just mean that the seller is understandably wary about leaving her full name on an easily accessible website. Familiarise yourself with Wayback. This is an internet archive. It stores everything. Is your panty girl exactly the same as she was several years ago? Never updated her pics? If not, why not? Because it isn't her in the pics perhaps? Can't Gerard find similar pics of a woman of similar shape? Is the seller giving some lame excuse as to why she can't provide pics of her wearing your order? Why not? Talking of pics. Study them. Is it the same woman? The same body shape? The same skin colour? (I'm not kidding!) The same freckle or mole on her right buttock? Mobile freckles huh? Hmmmmm.... Or should that be mobile moles and flighty freckles? Has she got the right type of plug socket on her bedroom wall? I'm serious -I know a buyer who bought from a British seller but she had the US-style two prong plug socket behind her. Perhaps the images seems familiar? Seen those same panties before? Chances are you have. Some scummy 'sellers' don't just steal other seller's pics but they steal the most well-known sellers' pics, which are instantly recogniseable to the rest of the used panty community. Dumb huh? Check her information page. Does she give good information regarding postage times, payment methods, and packaging? Is she showing evidence of good business sense? Check the forums on sites such as Panty Hog, My Used Panty Store, PantyBid and Ebanned. Has she got any reviews? Feedback? Are they good? Or bad? Check the bad reviews, they say more about the seller than the good ones. The good ones may not be genuine! Does she post on the forums herself? If not, why not? Doesn't she want to promote trust and a maintain a good profile to increase her sales? Has she got herself verified by Panty Trust? A seller who bothers to verify herself cares about the concerns of her buyers. She has to pay a fee, send a pic and a pair of panties to Panty Trust HQ before they will award her with a verification seal. If she doesn't have her Panty Trust seal does she have lots of positive feedback from other buyers? CHECK! Don't be swayed by a hot body and a tall tale. You might be sending your hard earned cash to Gerard's next girly incarnation. So you've done your research, you've checked around and your girl looks like she is a good sort. What now? NoteA recent development in the used panty business is a few unscrupulous sellers who put $$$, £££ and €€€ before common sense and morals. These sellers will happily wear and sell little girls' knickers. They justify this abhorrent decision by claiming that because they are women...it is okay. This thoughtless and selfish reasoning can only create damage to the used panty fetish. We do not consider it acceptable that panty sellers are appealing to buyers who may have paedophile tendencies. Yes, okay, granted, a child isn't involved in this sort of transacton but where could it end up? Could these buyers bypass the seller and seek out their own supply of little girls' knickers? Some sellers have already had buyers asking for knickers worn by our daughters! We already have an unfortunate blurring in our society where little girls are sexualised, let's not make things worse and let's not bring the harmless panty fetish into disrepute by pandering to the excuses and reasoning of some fucked up paedophiles. PLEASE - if you see a seller selling such items on any auction site anywhere let the admin of that site know. Admin aren't able to approve every single item, there are simply too many to police. Let's protect our fetish.Grown-up panties 4 Grown-up people!
